We are very pleased to announce the addition of Mike Schroder to our team of award winning instructors. Listing all his accomplishments here would require an entire website! To name just a few, Mike won the Carolinas PGA Section Teacher of the Year in 1996, appeared on the Golf Channel’s Golf Academy Live with Kelly Tilghman and has hosted the nationally syndicated Links Illustrated golf instruction program for 20 years, now seen weekly in over 40 million households throughout the country. Mike was named to the list of top instructors in South Carolina in the August, 2009 of Golf Digest.
Mike was one of the first to produce instructional videos with his highly successful “Simplify Your Golf” series.
Top Instructors
Mike is truly one of the pioneers of the golf school business having directed his own golf schools in the 1980’s and 1990’s before taking some time away from teaching to test his own playing skills on the highest levels. He has played successfully on both the PGA and Champions Tours and has helped a tremendous number of young players go on to play top collegiate and professional golf.
While Mike is still competing, we are fortunate that he has chosen to “hang his hat” with us and share his knowledge and teaching abilities with our students.
