Make the wood shavings fly as you learn the basics of woodturning. In this six week class students will have the opportunity to learn about lathe and tool safety and selection, woodturning techniques, tool sharpening, finishing, and will complete several projects of their own including a honey dipper, combination screwdriver, finger top, and wooden bowl. Class size is limited to eight students and will be taught by a member of the Charlestowne Woodturning Club. The fee for the class is $120. Does not include materials, supplies.
